Clinical objectives for nursing students

Young interns and qualified nurses always want to go for best medical institutions and hospitals where they can get opportunity to work with the best professionals in the industry and learn and become geniuses in their respective sectors.

Interns are governed by senior nurses who guide them through there learning process and assist them in becoming qualified professionals in various science and medical related fields like pharmaceuticals, pathology, laboratory assistant, physiotherapist etc. But, some reports have evicted senior nurse’s negative attitude towards there sub-ordinates which at times become root cause to the destruction of intern’s career and reports also evicted what factors led to the arousal of senior nurse’s neglecting and callous attitude. Negative attitudes results in student’s detention and regression and some factors which lead to negative professionalism might include nurse’s communication skills, role expectations and motivational dissents.

Firstly, observational experience is done where students do not directly interact with the patients and they are allowed to make recordings of the verbal activities. Secondly, basics like clinical and didactic instructions in basic areas of learning is provided whose durability is 12 months and after that extended preceptors serve as faculty members where number of students per batch should not concede 12. An average ratio for working in clinical labs is kept as 3 contact hours of clinical experience for each contact hour of classroom learning experience.

The theoretical objectives taught in classrooms to the nurses should be having practical demonstration done by the nurses and they should turn into a reference learning point. There are different semesters where different objectives stand for nursing students where an individual should demonstrate the ability to perform a health assessment on an individual client, select goals and analyze plans based on knowledge gathered in classroom training, turn theoretical modules into experimental observations, provide direct nursing care to culturally diversified clients, identify individual problem and try assessing them etc.

Student nurses can also try other perspectives like combining critical thinking with practical experiments and ideas, formulating theories and principles guided to them by their senior professionals, provide legal and collaborative care to individuals, try building healthy and stable relationship with clients etc, demonstrate effective leadership that fosters individual thinking and attitude towards themselves and society, collaborating physical, social and behavioral science with practical fundamentals, delivering nursing care with ethical parameters and with the team of qualified professionals which includes medical experts, clinical experts and others, development of growth and improvement in the profession, guiding clients to independent thinking and serving as a legal advocate to their clients and their profession, accountability and responsibility of safe health treatment to their clients and patients, developing sense of independent thinking in their clients.

Student nurses affection and dedication towards their profession and their clients reflects from there holistic work styles and their knowledge with oriented behaviors. These field requires demonstration of theoretical ideologies into practical experimentation and principles and affection towards their profession and clients with a sense of accountability and responsibility.
