In the field of nursing, there are many chances for advancement. Many students who enroll in nursing courses decide to continue their education after receiving an associate’s or bachelor’s. A nursing student can study all the way up to a doctorate or Master’s degree if they wish.

The March Of Dimes provides annual scholarships to nursing students wishing to pursue a graduates degree. Preference is given to those students who wish to specialize in Maternal Care Nursing. An applicant can only receive this scholarship once in their academic career.

The AACN (American Association of Critical Care Nurses) offers a variety of scholarships to nursing students who are seeking to extend their education to the graduate level. The AACN specializes in scholarships for critical care nurses. Recipients must be enrolled in an accredited university, and must also be AACN members in good standing.

The Emergency Nurses Association offers scholarships to nurses and nursing students, so they can can continue their education past the graduate level. Applicants are required to have a 3.0 GPA. Recipients are required to join the Emergency Nurses Association for one year.
